Going Home at 1.00pm

All mixed emotions about going home this afternoon, I have felt so protected in here over the past month and know I am better than I have been for the past six weeks, however 10 days at home will reinforce my mental and physical strength for the journey ahead and it will be lovely to be with Dai all day and share some special times together.

Not that I'm entirely free, I have to return for a blood test next Tuesday and have another Hickman Line on Wednesday, but Mum, Michael and Andrew are all making a brief visit so there will be some highlights in my week too!

Might just get that apple sponge and custard in before I leave !
