The Tensions of Recovery

Another day of contrasts; my bowels have finally calmed and no hint of the abdominal spasm remains, but my legs felt weaker than the past couple of days and the hair on my head which had regrown appears to be falling again.....

The doctors are unworried by the blood in my urine (just bleeding from the bladder wall) while they wait for results of tests, and are pleased that the dip in my neutrophil count is minimal following the end of the Lenograstin injections and that all other counts remain positive. In fact they are so encouraged that they suggest that if my bowels are calm for the next couple of days "I COULD PROBABLY GO HOME AT THE WEEKEND"!
