Plans for Home

Thought I'd share some of the 'plans' for home as have had a few emails/txts asking.....

DAI goes back to work on Monday 4th April for a four week graduated return to full time on 3rd May. Julie is coming to stay from 4th April to keep me company for a couple of weeks, after which Dai should be pretty quiet either side of the Easter weekend.

BRECON is staying with Jane for the first week to allow me to adjust to the home 'flora' before we're reunited !

IMMUNOSURPRESSANCE Continues til mid-June (see St. Georges Treatment in Menu, left), so that means roughly the same restrictions as previously. i.e. no coughs, colds, tummy bugs, no public transport, crowds, etc., KIDS are allowed with caution, but I do have to follow NEUTROPENIC DIET guidelines and must not eat GRAPEFRUIT as it interferes with the immunosrpressant drug ! Who spotted that in the LRF literature ?

HOSPITAL VISITS continue Monday and Thursday mornings for three months then monthly and at three, six and twelve month intervals.

Looking forward to our first holiday at Nash Point at the end of June ! (and my first grapefruit )

  2. Hi Simon,
You must be exhausted with all the treatment and waiting to go out of the hospital doors. Well, spring has sprung - EVERYTHING in the garden is bursting with growth and greenery. You'll be able to sit and watch everything for hour after joyous hour.
Hope you get a good nights sleep. Huge love to you and Dai - he must be on tenterhoooks too.
Ooh, when you wake in the morning it'll be just like Christmas.
