Realising that I have to accept the 'ups and downs' of the recovery process, illuminated by yesterday, which started bright but finished on a low and feeling a bit rubbish today with diahorrea continuing for the ninth day and new concerns about bladder.
On the bright side neutrophils 2.7, walked to the sink and door by myself and informal chat with nurses about going home 'end of next week', all of which is encouraging. So as Sister Omo at Kingston says it really is better to " just go with the flow."
Si - it's bound to be up and down. Just enjoy the ups and when in the downs, look forward to the ups being back very very soon. Good to hear you have had a walk and a positive chat with the nurses about back to Speer Road. End of next week is only ten days away - long time in terms of recouperating but not too long to wait.
