Despite feeling well yesterday afternoon and buoyed up on good news, it's clear that infection has got hold on me with shivers and high temperature returning in the evening. However, having pumped me with antibiotics, blood, platelets and fluid, I'm back up and hoping that the fast action will stop it getting a hold on me.
Disappointed that I have not been able to stay well, having got to nearly two weeks since the start of the chemo.

ReplyDeleteIt's hugely disappointing; just when everything seems to be rushing forward so fabulously.
Everyone in the outside world seems to be ill too, so it's no wonder nasties are spreading.
Althiough you've listed the Abts, blood, platelets and fluid you've not said anything about food, glorious food. Hope they are looking after you in that department too.

Two weeks is a good run at it. As Ellen said everyone else has been hit with the lurgy, so all considered you've done amazingly well! I was ill for about 3 weeks with one thing after the other starting on Christmas day... Not going to tempt it by adding any more! Apart from the MASSES of love of course XxXx
