12.40 Specialist, doctor and nurse explained :
Condition : Adult Acute Myesoid Leukaemia
Evidence : Repeat infection
Prognosis : Good in light of 'younger' age
Further tests : Samples sent to Royal Marsden for regrowth to identify likely 'correction' of chromasomes and stratify risk
Further treatment strategies : Bone marrow transplant from brothers (will be asked for blood test to ascertain potential 'match')
Principles of Treatment : 2 months Induction, 1 month Consolidation, with a week at home between each month.
